When Adobe released a new version of their Creative Suite software include tutorials from designers utilizing their new features. I was honored to test and then create an illustration using the soon to be released Adobe Illustrator CS6. The concept behind my illustration was inspired by the classic Adobe Illustrator packaging that used the Botticelli painting of The Birth of Venus. You can read and download my how-to-guide on Adobe’s site. In the tutorial, I walk through my process of creating my illustration and fuse some of the new tools offered in CS6.
